My dads cousin married the cousin of Peter Shilton.
Many years later I worked with Peter Shiton's brother, he's a kitchen/bathroom fitter and incredibly miserable.

My favourite sitcom is Rising Damp and once at Gatwick airport I spotted Don Warrington. I got my phone ready on camera and walked over to him but noticed he seemed to be having an argument with an air steward at the desk. I waited for him to finish and when he did he said to the steward "Disgraceful service" and stormed off.
He looked very miserable and angry and so I bottled it as I was probably the last person he wanted in his face at that time.
His loss though.

I won a competition in Shoot magazine for a week long holiday at the Sussex Beach Holiday village. This included a "Football School" run by Tony GALE, Phil PARKES and Geoff PIKE. George PARRIS turned up (or Smokey as they called him) for a bit as well. Pictures of me with the players were in the magazine a little while after the holiday.

I make an appearance in a dental surgeon's text book because I have a a penny size hole in the bone of my upper palate that can only been seen on an x-ray. The fleshy part that covers it is normal.
